Welcome to Telegraph Cove.
Telegraph Cove is nestled at the northern end of Johnstone Strait on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. The Broughton Archipelago, a stunning cluster of islets forming a protected marine park, is our neighbour, as are the famed Orca rubbing beaches of Robson Bight.
This calm, protected refuge - Telegraph Cove - was home to a lumber mill and salmon cannery in the early 1900's. Today, Telegraph Cove has gradually yielded to pleasure boaters, kayakers, sport fishermen, whale watchers and vacationers. "Telegraph Cove: One of the ten best wonders in all of Canada."
Telegraph Cove is a premier, unique destination for those seeking a pristine waterfront environment. Fresh and salt water fishing; kayak rental; whale watching and water taxi excursions; grizzly bear, cultural and forestry tours; outer island passenger ferry; bird watching; diving; caving; hiking; and boating, yours to experience.
Slips in our 130-berth marina vary from 16' to 65'. Our 50' wide boat ramp accommodates launches at any tide. Rest and relax in our lovely new over-the-water Dockside 29 suites or at our adjacent fully serviced 48-space RV Park.
The waters at Telegraph Cove provide an abundant array of nature's sea bounty. Perhaps you'll be after any of the five species of Salmon: Spring [also known as Chinook, King or Tyee]; Coho [also known as Silver]; Humpy [also known as Pink]; Sockeye [also known as Red]; or Chum. They're all here, along with Halibut, Ling Cod, Greenling, Black Sea Bass, Dungeness crab and shrimp too. Come and co-habit with eagles, black bear, river otters, seals, Dall's porpoise, Pacific White-sided dolphins, and of course, the magnificent whales (Orca, Finback, Minke and Humpback to name a few).
You're invited! Come get to know more about us and our beautiful amenities.
